Club ball has been a rollercoaster to me, I chose to stay local for 3 years at Springfield Shock. My final year, after being moved up from team to team, I finally decided the top team of that club wasn’t enough for me. So, I gave it my all and tried out for a team at Rockwood Thunder two hours away, new start, new girls, big opportunities.
After working on myself all summer long and putting in the reps and time, I made their top team. I think that if younger me were to read that, she would have never thought it was true. I constantly see improvements in my game, in the weight room, and in my mind.

Off the court, I am a motivated student-athlete. I surround myself with the people who bring out the best in me and if I need a laugh, I know who to call.
My interests are usually based off of how I am feeling that day, whether it’s crafting, shopping, or taking walks, I enjoy things in the moment.
I dream of majoring in Nursing and being able to work in the NICU to help little lives grow stronger everyday. I take everyday as a blessing from the Lord, and getting to know Him fully is my passion.

Before high school, I tried out for my middle school’s team in sixth grade and was cut. It crushed me, but also lit a fire in me that has been burning ever since. 7th grade came around and I hardly step foot on the court. My 8th grade year, I had an incredible coach. She pushed me everyday and I was able to lead my team to the state championship, unfortunately we lost, but it wasn’t all for nothing.
Going into high school I didn’t know what to expect. I wanted a varsity spot, so I trained, day after day, and when tryouts came around I made JV, but a few weeks into the season, the head coach told me I was being pulled up to varsity. The girls were intimidating, but now I see them as my sisters.
My freshman year I didn’t get as much attention or time on the court, but sophomore year I led the team in blocks and was the starting middle.
